Product Update: Dimensions

Dimensions is where data mapping happens in Roivenue. Think of dimensions as buckets. You define rules that sort your raw data into those buckets, by channel, campaign type, region, or any category that makes sense for your business. Once the data is sorted, you can analyze it together, compare it, and build reports that actually reflect how your marketing works and how each channel contributes to your results. If you’re new to that concept, our guide to multi-touch attribution is a good place to start.

Get the rules right, and your reports are reliable. Get them wrong, or leave gaps, and everything built on top of them is off.

Meaningful and accurate reporting is the goal we share with every one of you, Roivenue clients. This update is a direct response to your feedback, and here’s what it brings:

  • New Design: A completely refreshed interface that makes navigation more intuitive, and the overall workflow easier to follow.

  • Rule Templates: Create a template for the static part of a rule and reuse it. Each time, you only fill in the value that changes.

  • Conflict Filtering: One click to show only the rules that conflict. No more scrolling through the entire list to find the problem.

  • Custom Date Range for Data: Select a specific date range to control which data is displayed and mapped. Useful when working with historical data.

  • Time-Bound Rules: Set a validity period directly on any rule. Once the period ends, the rule stops applying automatically.

  • Data Coverage Overview: Each rule now shows what percentage of your total Clicks, Cost, or Visits it covers. See immediately how much of your data is mapped and which rules have the biggest impact.

The details behind each update

A Fresh, More Intuitive Design

The first thing you’ll notice is that Dimensions simply looks and feels different. The interface has been fully refreshed. Navigation is more straightforward; the workflow is easier to follow, and the most common actions are faster to reach. Whether you’re setting up rules for the first time or revisiting a configuration you built months ago, everything you need is right where you’d expect it.

Rule Templates: Set Up Faster, Not Harder

If you’ve ever built the same rule structure multiple times, (with a different value each time), you’ll know exactly how time-consuming that gets. Rule Template removes that friction entirely. Create a template for the static part of the rule and reuse it as many times as needed. Each time, you only fill in the value that changes.

Less repetition, faster setup, and a dimension that’s fully configured before you even notice the time.

Data Coverage Overview: See the Impact of Every Rule

Setting up a dimension and hoping it works is no longer good enough. Now you don’t have to. Each rule shows its data coverage: the percentage of your total Clicks, Cost, Visits, or any other selected metric it maps. Unmapped values are visible too, so you can immediately see how much of your data still needs attention and which rules carry the most weight.

No more discovering mid-report that a chunk of your data was never mapped. Just a clear, honest picture of where you stand and the confidence to act on it. Dimensions Rules

Conflict Filtering: Spot Problems Instantly

The longer the list of rules, the easier it is to miss conflicts. And in a complex dimension that’s grown over time, missing a conflict means bad data, often without knowing it. The new conflict filter takes care of that. One click, and only the conflicting rules are visible. No scrolling, no comparing conditions manually, no second-guessing.

Custom Date Range for Preview Table: Map Historical Data with Ease

Until now, the preview table has always shown the last three months of data. If you needed to check or remap something older, a campaign from last year, a period with a rule change, you had to leave Dimensions, dig through reports, and piece it together from there.

That workaround is gone. Select any date range directly in Dimensions, and the preview table shows exactly that data. If last year’s mapping needs revisiting, just set the range and work with what’s relevant, without ever leaving the page.

Time-Bound Rules: Apply Rules Only for the Period That Matters

Not all mapping logic should apply forever. Sometimes a rule is only relevant for a seasonal campaign or a promotional period. Sometimes something was set up incorrectly for a while, and you need to contain the damage to that specific window. Whatever the reason, you can now set a validity period directly on any rule, and once the period ends, the rule stops applying automatically.

No manual cleanup, no risk of outdated logic quietly affecting data it was never meant to touch.

dimensions Creating New Rule

The same Dimensions you know, now easier to use.

Better mapping means better data. Better data means reports you can actually trust and decisions you can act on with confidence. If you’re wondering what that looks like in practice, UPC Slovakia is a good example: by getting their data right, they cut 34% of their marketing budget while keeping performance strong.
