How these numbers are calculated
- Overlap ratio
- Platform conversions divided by GA4 conversions. 1.0 means they agree; 1.6 means the platforms claim 60% more than GA4 saw from the same paid traffic.
- Unverified share
- Platform minus GA4, divided by platform: conversions the platforms claim that your own analytics has no record of.
- Spend at risk
- Unverified share times monthly spend: budget steered, proportionally, by signals you cannot verify.
- Score
- A fixed scale on the overlap ratio: below 1.05 scores 96, above 3.0 scores 6. Minus 3 with display or remarketing above 1.5, minus 2 with Performance Max above 1.3.
- GA4 is not the truth either
- It sees clicks, not ad views, so it undercounts channels that work before the click. The gap shows how far the platforms drift from a neutral count, not the exact answer.

Teams that stopped trusting the self-grades
It turned out that we looked at Facebook very strictly from a performance marketing perspective. Roivenue showed that some activities on social media have a greater impact on the purchasing process than we thought. This led us to change our tactics.
